September is a month to celebrate and educate! Check out the events below happening nationwide and hosted by many different organizations. Whatever you do this month- Get Involved!

September 3: Chicago Fire Soccer Outing with BACKBONES

Come watch the Chicago Fire as they battle Philadelphia Union. We will have grills available! Bring stuff to put on the grills! Food, drinks, games and good times!

September 9: Unbroken Art Show in Chicago, IL

Unbroken includes voices of artists with spinal cord injuries and disease (SCI/D) and celebrates their contributions, talent, creativity and personal stories. This visual storytelling is a glimpse of the accomplishments, pain, happiness, loss, and beauty of a few individuals with spinal cord injury and paralysis.

September 13: Wheelchair Skills and Maintenance Workshop
Instruction and practice performing manual or power wheelchair skills including curb and ramp negotiation; Basic wheelchair maintenance; Free raffle or prizes for participants
