Ali Ingersoll is a day trader, disability strategy consultant, Ms. Wheelchair North Carolina 2022, writer, blogger, editor, and public speaker. She started her advocacy mission after being repeatedly denied medically necessary equipment by insurance companies over the last 10 years since becoming a C6 quadriplegic after a shallow water diving accident. Disability Inclusion in our society is a priority Ali focuses on improving every day. She has a firm philosophy of paying it forward by giving back to the community through working with stakeholders in the government, non-profit world, and partnering organizations to create a more inclusive society and disability employment environment.
Chelsea McDonald is a Registered Dietitian and specialized in geriatric nutrition, wounds and weight loss prior to a car accident in 2010. For the last 4 years she's been empowering women and building her beauty business! Chelsea and her husband live on a farm in central KY. He is her full-time caregiver and runs a cattle operation. Chelsea uses social media to spread hope and love to anyone in need, and shows that despite our circumstances, we can always rebuild ourselves and our self-confidence!
