Photos with a Spin
Meeting through adaptive sports and married in December 2016, Maggie Redden and Abe Waugh started Photos With A Spin (photoswithaspin.com) through a shared love of photography and travel during the pandemic. As manual wheelchair users, disability advocacy is a passion. Maggie is currently the Senior Communications and Marketing Specialist for the City of Falls Church, Virginia, and Abe is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Functional Pathways in Washington, D.C. Debbie Myers
Debbie is the Board Chairman of the North Carolina Spinal Cord Injury Association (NCSCIA). She is very proud of the state outreach of the organization through their peer mentoring and support groups, annual conferences and educational programs, adaptive sports, resource library and community awareness projects. Debbie was crowned Ms. Wheelchair NC in 2005 with a platform based on reintegration back to the community. She continued her support over the years as a judge, mentor, and event coordinator. Debbie was recently recognized for her volunteer work and contributions to her community by the 2022 Governor’s Volunteer Service Award.
