Yasmin is the Executive Director at Open Style Lab (OSL), Open style lab is a disability led organization originating out of MIT age lab as a reaction to people who lost limbs in the Boston bombing in 2013. OSL runs a 10 week summer program where they get occupational therapists, fashion designers, engineers and people with disabilities to design stylish and functional clothing. OSL’s mission is to make style accessible to everyone through education of disabled and non-disabled designers of inclusive design methodologies, research and community engagement through workshops and written publications and raising awareness and action through public and industry engagement.
