Join us for a discussion on the book About Us: Essays from the Disability Series of the New York Times!
Special Guests include: Rosemarie Garland-Thomson, Luticha Andre Doucette & Cheri Blauwet. They are all contributors to the book.
Rosemarie Garland-Thomson is a professor of English and bioethics at Emory University. Her work brings disability culture, ethics and justice to a broad range of institutions and communities.
Luticha Andre Doucette is a businesswoman, writer, philanthropist, proud cat mom and activist located in Rochester, NY. In her spare time she volunteers, is a community organizer, an avid reader and a competitive fencer.
Cheri A. Blauwet is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, a seven-time Paralympic medalist and serves on the board of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
